i heard the most amazing interpretation of this one as someone describing being molested as a child. i don't interpret it that way myself,
but it was amazing how this person made it fit. it's possible. go re-read the lyrics. all that notwithstanding, i think of it more as realizing someone that the
world looks up to is a sham and a fraud. someone who "decieves" the "cattle" who can't think for themselves. like looking at a figure of authority and
wanting to scream out that they are corrupt but knowing no one will listen. could be a politician, a famous person, the media... maybe even God. anyone
putting on a front and decieving people, then using them for his or her own ends. "you know i can see what you really are", and i'm disgusted.

ruiner is about someone or something that can control and direct a group of people, which eventually leads them into
there demise. The mindless cattle that they are follow this deciever and believe in his ways. The ruiner is only out for
himself and does not care about what he does. By not conforming you see what he really is and you hate him for what
he has done. But some how he got to you and made you impure. So now that he has you , you don't care anymore,
about anything. But since you are filled with apathy you in a way become the ruiner.

i think that ruiner is talking about satan. i realized this once after my friend sent me a letter trying to get me out of
satanism... i was really depressed and i might have been mutalating myself. but i was listening to ruiner and it just
clicked in my head. it's talking about how satan makes people believe in his lies ...how he makes them do his work on
earth and bring others in. it says. "he has nothing to lose" because satan doesn't. he only has your soul to gain.
raping of the innocent refers to how satan can corrupt the purest of things and turn them into a tool for his using.in the
chorus "how did you get so big, how did you ger so stong. how did you get so hard, how did you get so long" it's
asking how satan got to become so powerful and overtake a large portion of america... and how hard it's gotten to
overcome his power... and how long it takes. " you had to give them a sign" is talking about the mark of the beast that
all of satan's victims covet. and the second verse is talking about his realization of the truth and how maybe some day
others can realize it too. the perfect ring of scars is the part of him that will always be hurt due to the torture satan's grip
put on his life.and the last sentence is saying that he satan can't hurt him anymore and he can't stop him from living his
life from how he wants to life it.well... that's my opinion.
